When Not to Use SOA.. October 31, 2008

An interesting article on when not to use SOA.  Its a little dated, but the points are still the right ones.  If you are not going to experience changing business conditions (and/or the associated changes in IT) OR you already have a homogeneous IT environment, then you really have to re-think the SOA value.  However, in my experience, many organizations (more than 10 years old) have good number of different technologies in place, many of which are customized.. and these are the same organizations which have experienced change as well.
