Technology Readiness Model July 24, 2007

I have created a readiness model which is focused on specific technologies, tools, or processes.  Specifically you use it to determine if some environment you are focusing on is ready to use some kind of technology.  I have built the fundamental model, which can be extended, and it has some baseline criteria as well as a measurement scheme.  Similar to a CMMI measurement model, but really intended to be completed in a few hours instead some kind of big activity.

Its patent pending now.. so I’m done with the baseline description.  Interesting area, and I’ve used it on a number of occasions to help me out in my job at IBM.  Would be happy to talk about it a bit if you want.

(I seem to have posted a lot today ;->)
